Morning Update on Outages (May 17, 2024):

SBEC crews have a good assessment of the damage done during yesterday's storm. Vegetation crews will be working on clearing trees and debris to allow our line crews easy access to begin rebuilding line.

This will be a lengthy restoration process as we rebuild our lines, but we have several contract crews and additional line crews from Wharton County Electric Cooperative and Jackson Electric Cooperative assisting in our outage restoration.

We know everyone is eager to get power and we promise we are working around the clock to get your power restored. There is no need to call in and report your outage currently. We will continue to update our membership as power is restored and we encourage you to follow or check on outages with our outage map. Doing this, allows our phone lines to be open for any emergency calls.
