SCADA Operator/Dispatcher Level I - Bellville office
Receives routine calls from membership and dispatches crews accordingly to take appropriate measures. Monitors systems for alarms and performs operations as necessary. During outages, is responsible for safely coordinating multiple crews through various aspects of line repair and switching procedures while simultaneously monitoring telephone and radio communications.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Excellent communication skills with emphasis on customer service required. General knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and proficient typing skills helpful. Must be able to multi-task efficiently. Thorough knowledge of SBEC system and territory a plus. Will be required to work shifts up to 12 hour increments. Entry level position.
